Last updated on 11 September 2022

We are carefully monitoring the epidemiological situation to make sure we can have a safe and enjoyable in-person meeting. Please come back to this page before booking travel in order to access the latest information.

Below you can find a brief summary of current applicable regulations.

Since June 1st, all entry restrictions into Italy have been lifted. No vaccination certificate or covid-19 test required.

Mask mandates (FFP2) are still in place on public transport and in hospitals.

We note that in case of a positive test carried out by healthcare professional, a self-isolation period of at least 5 days is still mandatory, after which the isolation can be terminated at any time if the following conditions are both met: i) the subject is not experiencing symptoms, and ii) can provide a proof of a negative test (antigen or PCR).

In case of lasting positivity, the mandatory self-isolation period automatically terminates after 14 days (if the subject is not experiencing symptoms).

Up to date information and detailed instructions on travel to Italy can be found at this website from the Italian Ministry of Health.

Please note that while we will try to provide you with correct and up-to-date information, it is the responsibility of attendees to ensure that they meet all the requirements of applicable Italian regulations. If you have any doubts, feel free to reach out to the LOC.
